Multi-Tenant SaaS Architecture, Scaling and DevOps

Most scaling problems are architecture problems wearing an infrastructure costume. I design systems so that adding a tenant, a data source or a region is configuration, not a rewrite, then automate the path to production so deploys are routine.

At Comlink I introduced Dockerized CI/CD that cut deployment time by about 60% and reduced incidents. At SL Tech the pipelines support 25+ deploys a week across staging and production.

What you get

  • Tenant isolation, roles and reporting designed in from day one.

  • Data pipelines that normalize many sources into one model.

  • Deploys measured in minutes, with rollbacks that work.

  • Observability and runbooks so the on-call engineer sleeps.

FAQ

Do you do fractional architecture work?

Yes. A common shape is a short audit, a written target architecture, then a few hours a week guiding the team through it.

AWS or something simpler?

Whichever fits the team. I've run ECS, EC2 and RDS on AWS, and I've moved smaller teams to Coolify on a single VPS when that was the right size.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Often. Rightsizing, caching and removing accidental duplication usually pay for the engagement, but I'll say so if there's nothing to save.
