Add me to your AI assistant

This site runs a public Model Context Protocol server. Add it to Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor and your assistant can answer questions about my work, pull case studies, check our timezone overlap, estimate an AI feature's cost, or send me a message. I build MCP servers for clients; this one is the demo.

Endpoint

https://zainakram.com/api/mcp

Streamable HTTP, no authentication, read-only except the introduction tool. No data about you is stored.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http zain-akram https://zainakram.com/api/mcp

Then ask: "Use zain-akram to summarise Zain's AI work and tell me if he'd fit a fractional CTO role."

Cursor, Windsurf, and other HTTP clients

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "zain-akram": { "url": "https://zainakram.com/api/mcp" }
  }
}

Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop connects to remote servers through mcp-remote. Add this to claude_desktop_config.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "zain-akram": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://zainakram.com/api/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Tools

  • get_profile — Headline, summary, availability, location, links.
  • list_projects / get_project — Case studies with problem, what was built, outcome, stack.
  • list_decisions — Architecture decision records from real projects.
  • get_skills — Toolkit by category, core skills marked.
  • list_posts / get_post — Blog posts, full text.
  • check_timezone_overlap — Working-hour overlap between your timezone and Lahore.
  • estimate_ai_cost — Cost per resolved ticket for an LLM agent (same model as the calculator).
  • request_introduction — Send Zain a message. Rate limited, lands in his inbox.

There is also a fit_assessment prompt: paste a job description or project brief and get a grounded assessment of fit, with gaps named honestly.

Why this exists

Recruiters and CTOs increasingly evaluate people through their assistants before they open a website. Rather than hope a crawler summarises me well, I expose the same facts the site uses (profile.json, llms.txt) as typed tools with a scoped write path, the pattern I use on client MCP work.
